Hello all,
We have finally reached the end of a test-plagued(for me at least) month of May. Let me remember the various events that happened and let us welcome a new month of holiday, June!

I can still vividly visualise the Combined Sports Meet 2005 in which I began my blog not long before it happened. What a disaster it was... Even so, it was really quite fun and a good chance for us to enjoy a break (though obviously not a break from heat). Overall, that event really marked the beginning of my blog. Should I thank it? (Don't be lame - Fatboytt)

Next up, the sabbaticals in which I attended. From there, I could really learn much more than I would ever learn on how to present myself, body language and the important ability to write powerful and persuasive (and to mention, humourous) speeches. How cool! (o.0 Interesting... - Fatboytt)

Lastly, it was iSpark Nite, the leaving of some teachers and EOTAs. iSpark Nite was a great success and I feel that we should have another event like this in the future. EOTA was totally like bad for me... but that's just me. (That's obviously for you, I had a wonderful time, Thank you - Fatboytt)

Oops, it looks like we have a mysterious "Fatboytt" butting in my questions. Oh well, I can't be bothered to get him off so I shall end here... (Muahahahahaha! - Obviously him)

This blog is a detailed description of my school and its many facilities. How intriguing!

My School: Hwa Chong Institution (formerly known as The Chinese High School)

HCI (short for Hwa Chong Institution) is a top notch school that is probably competing with RI (Raffles Institution) on achieving the best results in the entire Singapore. Now with the implementation of the IP (Integrated Programme), pupils entering top schools will not have to take the O-Levels (Ordinary Levels) and will instead take the A-Levels (Advanced Levels?) after a 6-year period.

My school is probably as big as 3 or 4 football fields and with so much space, our buildings are mostly limited to 3 even 2 levels. The school is interconnected by a series of bridges in which there are also water coolers placed at points in the school everywhere. You definitely will not go thirsty!

My school comprises of a big field, some giant steps, a swimming pool, an Olympic-sized track, four blocks, namely Block A, B, C and D in which pupils have their classrooms. The top 8 Secondary 4 classrooms are air-conditioned and are situated in the tower block. Besides all these, we also have 3 LTs( Lecture Theatres) , a big Kah Kee Hall and a big auditorium. My school also has three other blocks - Art Block, Science Block and presumably the Technology Block.

The Art Block is where all our art lessons are conducted. The Science block houses Biology, Chemistry and Physics Labs and is the place where we have our Science practicals. The Technology Block is where our four computer labs are situated.

Returning to the blog at 1408 hours - the 31st of May, year 2005 under the solar calendar...

Regarding the College Section of HCI, I really do not know the full extent of its facilities. All that I know is that it has an auditorium capable of housing around 700 guests and some rock climbing walls which I have spotted on some of my visits to the College.

As a whole, my school has a total of three bus stops at our doors - one for the College Section, which is naturally smaller in size than the High School Section, and two at both ends for the High School Section.

After a description of my school's various facilities, I shall now go on to what happened when the previous Chinese High School merged with Hwa Chong Junior College to form HCI.

On the management side, the principal of TCHS (The Chinese High School) became the vice principal and the principal of HCJC (Hwa Chong Junior College) became the overall head in principalship.

Feeling a little bored so I shall take a nap... TBC (To be continued...)

Construction of skyscrapers dot the small island of Singapore like how the peanut butter is spread across my breakfast bread... Full of excitement...

Yes! Out of the 7 people I invited, 6 people are coming to the gaming session hosted by me tomorrow! What a nice day it is going to be tomorrow!

I realise that my blogs are getting shorter and shorter and shorter - how depressing. Ah well, either today or tomorrow I will continue posting on my friend's profiles. I remember that I also mentioned blogging about my school. Well, probably I will.

Agenda:

The curtains unveil the strong sunlight that my eyes are unable to take in all at once... Hopeful...

Finally! The June holidays arrive as I type this. However, this year, we have got a lot of homework and we even have to return to school on some specific days - my dream of a total gaming month is crumbling. Well, what can I say? Anyway, I will most definitely blog more during the holidays. I am sure that the holidays will be a tad too boring for me.

Luckily, my friends have been invited by me for a nice gaming session on Monday. Then, I have another gaming session on Wednesday by Shawn, another fellow Halo CE/2 player. How nice!

I have also linked a new song to this webpage - one of my favourites! Warning: You need Apple's Quicktime Player to listen to it.

That's about all. I've got to go and do up some French homework. This was definitely quite a short blog. Bye!

The world is black, as black as a bottomless hole, as black as Outer Space.... At rest...

Today, we just had our first ever consortium one-night sleepover. It is definitely not the first ever practised by any consortium. Anyway, we councillors-in-training were like the cleaners, cleaning up the food after each class had eaten their late supper (at around 2315 hours). Besides, we also took up the responsibility of managing the stage, the backstage, the basement... very tiring and I was really exhausted. [Computer is humming quietly...]

iSpark Nite was a night in which parents were invited to see their own children act or sing a song in a short 5 minutes allocated to each class. The theme is 'Exodus', which refers to a number of people leaving and the skit/song would try to conform to that. Judges for the skits/songs were Mdm Tan, Ms Tey and Ms Letchmi. [Computer humming a little louder...]

Now after the entire showcases of shows, there was a special 'potluck' session in which food contributed by all the classes would be mixed and eaten together as a consortium. After eating, we were supposed to help them clean up. Even so, I feel that it has been a memorable experience working as a councillor-in-training. [The tone of a certain game comes on...]

I did not get much sleep, only a mere 5 and a 1/2 hours in which I slept at 0030 and woke up at 6 am in the morning due to everyone's loud and unhushed voices. Yawning...

Then came the time for EOTA in which I first rested at the Space after which I visited my classmates at my classroom. During the bowling EOTA, I must say that it was really all a waste of money. Sighs... [Graphics engine is utilised...]

Concluding, the one-night stayover is a new and brilliant concept that needs refining. However, I will hope for it to be implemented next year to welcome some new additions into our GEP. [The monitor constantly flickers]

The wind swirls into my room as aeroplanes soar overhead... Gasping for breath as though this will be my last one...

Phew! I am very tired just after my run around the park. I have also just studied for my Science Test tomorrow... it's quite hard. I'm quite positive that I will be able to score well in this one. Anyway, today was quite like a finale for many of the subjects we took. Geography, History and English Language lessons today were all the last lessons of the term due to a short sleep-over followed by EOTAs from tomorrow to Friday. What EOTA did I choose? Hmmm... Bowling at Orchid Country Club - quite a good choice considering that quite a few people are going for that same End-Of-Term-Activity as well. Then I will not fell bored! Yay!

In the next two days, I will have to say good bye to three of our consortium's teachers. They are Mr.Liew, Mr.Liew and Mdm Tan. You may be wondering why there are two Mr. Liews. Did I type it wrongly? No, one of them was our Chemistry module science teacher and the other is our beloved English teacher. Brief summary of both of them plus Mdm Tan will be as follows.

Mr. Warren Liew is our English teacher. He is quite a nice teacher and is very humourous. He always carrys a face of life and joy to school, inspiring us to new heights in our English Language. He is due to leave for he will be going to the USA for furthur studies on his own topic. He has taught us quite a bit on Linguistic Skills and Singlish. He was once featured in a small article on how he attended a course at the Regional Language Centre, teaching us how to learn to use Singlish when needed. His departure will leave many a heart-wrenching experience (including me).

Next, Mr. Liew YJ is our Term 1 Science Teacher a.k.a. Chemistry Teacher. He is one of the 11A scholars from HCI in the past years and has brought our school glory. It has been quite a memorable experience learning from him as he always teaches us with patience.

Mdm Tan Liang See is a Chinese teacher yet she does not take us for Chinese Language. She is the current head of my consortium, iSpark, and in a few weeks Ms Jasmine Tay will be taking over her role. Sometimes I wonder why Ms Letchmi Devi, our consortium's vice-head, did not take over her. Mdm Tan Liang See may have a strict look on her face but she is quite responsible and helpful. I haven't got a touch on how she teaches so I am unable to comment on that at this point.

So we will be holding a sort of farewell party for these three teachers tomorrow night in which the whole consortium will stay over. Meanwhile, we will also act a short skit and sing some famous songs. How nice a night! Anticipating and looking forward to tomorrow!

Over the past two days, I have been suffering from something the chinese sinsehs call "lung flu" which actually comprises of (in my case) a fever of 39-40 degrees celsius, a bad sneeze every 30 seconds, a cough that hurts my throat, red and dry eyes, swollen eyes, puffy cheeks, drowsy look, weakness and an inability to blog. How terrible!

Blah... Anyway have already chosen a background for my blog and if you are a real Halo fan, you can probably see how I have slightly modified this background. Good Luck!

I feel that my tag-board is extremely empty. Will visitors at least comment or type there? I will find means to move it into a suitable, easy-to-see position. So there. Btw, my theme is still not completed ... Havent finished thinking of it yet. Most likely will be based on my favourite game Halo... obviously the theme will be one that creates a fusion between iMac and Halo. Trying to find how to do that. Meanwhile, I am still typing my 500 word long essay....

Winds cross the land at a mere 5km/h as I type ... Sticky ...

It has been quite a period of time before I last blogged. How depressing! Nevertheless, this is my final reflections on the sabbaticals and will include a conclusion. OK, I am thoroughly sorry for my neglect of this blog, though it has only been a short period of around a few days. [Sony TV sits in a corner of my living room]

Day 4 was a total rush kind of thing because the next day, Day 5, was our assessments, in other words, tests.

First lesson was teaching us on informing and persuading someone by using the right register. What is register? Definitely not the class register that you probably are thinking of now. It is referring to the correct attitude that one should have when facing different people. The general spirit of the people was quite positive. The activities posed were unimaginably fun (bit of exaggeration here) and for one, I thoroughly enjoyed the lesson. This teacher is totally understanding about her students' needs. Before, I must have mentioned the teacher that gave us many jokes that were funny not witty. Ah well, her lessons have always been well-liked and she has a strong grasp of the topics she would be covering. She is also very soft-hearted. The lesson, which started like 10 minutes early, ended approximately an hour before we were officially supposed to be let off! So we had a 2-hour break in which I, tempted once again by the notion of indulging in SSB, played it! At least this time I did not lose so badly to Tian Ci (will mention him in detail sometime later) as before.... [A press of the controller, the television lights up...]

Next lesson, a lesson on presentation, effective ones and ineffective ones and how to write them. This lesson was a tad too boring for its subject-matter. Presentations were not bad, we had this game in which we could do everything we shouldn't do... added a bit of life into the session. Nevertheless, there were worksheets after worksheets on what we will write in the introduction (the head), the body and the conclusion (the tail). There was quite a fair bit of useful knowledge provided during that lesson and deep down, I feel that the lesson was not too bad after all. Overall, I absorbed a lot of information that really aided me in getting my speech done for the next day's mini test.

Last lesson was just a recap of what we should wear - formal (long-sleeved top with collar and cuffs, long pants that went beyond the ankle, a belt, a tie that was to be tied the next day, socks and shoes) . What was emphasised was also the need to match the colours... imagine coming as bright as a rainbow! Then we had greater details on how the proceedings would carry out the next day and voila, we were let off at 1300 hours, full of energy for speech-writing. (though I stayed back along with about 10 other people to watch the previous batch of pupils whom took this sabbatical speak in order to make myself fully aware of what I had to expect). [TV plays a musical melody, like the sound of waves lapping on the shores that were coming out from the shell/conch]

The following is just a last paragraph on the assessment in which there was not much to talk about, in my point of view. [Family members laugh loudly - show must be a comedy]

Assessment was fairly smooth sailing and I was totallyreading from the script. Sitting in an air-conditioned Secondary 4 classroom can really make you doze off yet I did not, how similar to all the other people. We had a short 5 minutes toilet break and I took over keeping of time. Dressed with a white top and black pants, I was indifferent from other people. We all (almost) looked like people attending a wedding. All good things must come to an end, we were released at around noon and I really enjoyed the entire sabbatical, too fruit-bearing to let go. Anyway, I also got a fairly good mark of 4 cps for EL (why couldn't it be on Literature). So I released a great breath and here I am, though I am a few days late, typing out my reflections and personal accounts. [TV blares Singlish talk, am really in fear that the neighbours might lodge a complaint]

Bright, sunny day as Ol' Sun peeps over the clouds covering the blue, vast sky... Feeling boredom pick at me....

As always, I am back here again with a new reflection on my school life today. How interesting can school life be? Well, not too fun-filled yet today we had an interesting turn of events that came unexpected at the last period of the day which ended at 1315 hours... How late! Curry chicken rice was all cold by the time I got to the canteen.

Today, we all met up in LT2 again (that refers to all 34 of us). We were all listening to another teacher's jokes and exploits.. not bad, quite hilarious, unlike some other lame jokes like the ones I watched on TV Mobile as I made my way home in a SBS Public Bus. After that, at around 8 o'clock, the teacher for that period came in and ordered to see all our ties that we were supposed to bring... and I did not bring! Somedays, I sense that I am getting a bit more forgetful... Anyway, she reprimanded the people who did not bring and began lending all 9 of us whom did not bring to borrow one of her ties on the table... How 'nice' of her! The lesson was quite boring and all she gave us were .... OK! you guessed it! Notes and notes and notes... supposed to help us in the speech-making process. There's probably only one thing good about her, the fact that she remembers that the purpose of this course is for us to implement the skills taught by the teachers in the assessment on Friday 13/5. Just remembered I have a French test on 19/5....

Why did I choose 'Cyberspace Addiction' as my IRS Project? I really don't know. Through this sabbatical, I probably already gained two things from it - knowledge on the sabbatical's topics and why students are so addicted to the computer. It's just too fun to resist! So, under Nature's temptation, I succumbed to addiction of SSB and played two matches, both against one of my classmate (he's really pro! needed a long time to just get him off the edge). [Goes to bring French file to the computer desk]

Next, another lesson on speech-making and the use of emotions as a way to con you fellowmen into your advantage. Well, at least that was what Antony of Rome did, then he went off to Egypt to find Cleopatra and died a horrible death (now that was quite un-intellectual of him, wasn't it?) Quite an interesting lesson including some history on Julius Caesar and Shakespear's play. So that lesson was spent quite meaningfully, though we (me, Taylor, Benjamin and Jerrold) - {probably some people you may not know} created a very melodramatic speech... got killed by the crowd but got praised by the teacher for using enough metaphors and descriptive language... [French dictionary open in front of me]

Well, our lesson ended 10 minutes late and our next teacher came 15 minutes late. She was Mrs Ng, the host of this session and the teacher whom said all the other teachers would be punctual in reaching the classroom in time... well, she was not! Ironic! She came in and guess what? She asked us to lie on the floor (we moved the tables and chairs to the side neatly) and close our eyes, imagining some sort of monster coming towards us and poof! it became Mother. She said it was to let us feel less nervous while speaking on the stage. During the lesson, we had a lot of tongue twisters and other aeiou stuff so it was probably all to just raise a leader's confidence. After that, I contemplated playing SSB again but was too tired so went down to canteen and went home. [French is so tough... How to get good score?]

Pea-sized pellets of water fall from the sky, as though they were crystals reflecting a thousand colours of the white sunlight... Happy...

Today's sabbaticals consisted of a lesson on personal grooming, another on preparing speech and one last one on a leadership experience by an ExCo member(will explain this in detail next time; probably tomorrow). Today we slacked a lot, though I wish that our break would have been longer. Ahh! Can't complain can I? School officially ended at 12:45 pm....

OK, first lesson - "Personal Grooming:Visual Poise and Deportment, Body Language" it reads on the timetable provided..... personal experience? totally different. The teacher, the head librarian, is someone whom is quite bent on explaining the facts on what causes dandruff and athlete's foot that she does not stop to ask if we knew what was happening. Then, next part of the lesson, a lecture on the importance of body grooming, providing a thick stack of notes. At the end of the lesson, we were practically left scrambling for our bags in order to get out of LT2 (again, please wait for my post on HCI). Lesson was far too boring...

Next lesson, (let's skip the 50 minutes recess), we had a speech on how to make speeches (that was dumb). Taught by a teacher whom gave us the equal amount of notes the previous teacher gave us. At least the entire lesson was filled with laughter and activities.. this teacher really has a great sense of humour revolving around her inner personality. The activities, in which there were 8 or 9 were all quite fun-filled, and the our attention span was faithfully long. To the end of the lesson, the teacher gave us a last powerpoint presentation and we ended the session 5 mins late! Yet that wasn't too much, I did not go anywhere anyway...

Last lesson - Master Seng. You all might be wondering why this teacher's name is prefixed with a 'Master'. Well, there is totally no need to speculate. He is a co-trainer that is actually the ExCo mentioned at the first paragraph. According to Mrs Laura Ng, the teacher that hosted this entire sabbatical, this teenager went asking Mrs Ng to take on us CsIT as her students for a sabbatical and ta dah! she agreed and that's how this sabbatical was formed. Master Seng had a sore throat(practically all the teachers had a sore throat, flu or cough; I heard from Mrs Ng that she took a lot of Chinese cooling tea in order to teach us) and therefore role-called each of us to read the script he prepared for himself to present... said that we all needed to be more confident and said that we all would do well on the assesment due to be carried out on Friday(Hee Hee! Haven't prepared my draft for the speech yet). He was quite a nice person, just like our buddies during the iSpark and Orientation camps (OK, I know you probably don't know what I'm referring to). He was so nice that we were let off 15 mins before our lesson was supposed to have actually ended. His leadership experience was even better; got into the Student's Convention Organising Team just at Secondary 1!

As I listen to my 'Halo 2' music being played by iTunes in the background, I reflect upon today's activities and I find myself filled with a chain of quick thoughts as thought they were convicts lining up in one line in the prison to collect food. Have you ever though of how the cook at the prison feels? I wonder...

These four friends of mine shall be the main topic of the post. These four seem to click together like a four-pieced jigsaw puzzle, only that there isn't one. What are their basic characters? What are they involved in?All these questions will be entertained and by the end of this post you should get a clear picture of these four friends of mine.

Ning Yu is a cute, chubby little friend in which he also has a sense of altruism. He helps anyone in need and is never complaining about his various difficulties. His complex brain has caused him a place in Chinese Chess, a CCA in which he attends every 2 or 3 times a week. His character? Tres Bien I Do Say! From the above mentioned, he is already known as a helpful person. What I failed to mention is that he is always so happy even though deep down in his heart he may not be happy. Why? I believe that he himself can answer that question. Personally, I feel that he is not a show-off, arrogant bootlicker and is in fact someone who thinks of others and in chinese?处处为人找想. Therefore, when I met up with him in the Primary GEP, I already had a good impression. Chubby boy, well-mannered, sometimes he gets a friendly push from me (though he may not think so) and sometimes(always) after third language we have a meal in fastfood restaurant McDonald's!

Benjamin is a straight-forward boy, someone who manages to express the ideas foaming within his mind clearly and in a way that everyone understands him. His calm tone usually captivates everyone's attention and he is always quite attentive in class (as I heard). His postive attitude towards life has enabled him to join the iSpark (will be touching on this within the month) as a councillor-in-training,just like Jia Kun and me. He is task-orientated and I met up with him closely ever since we, together with 10 other students from NYPS came to HCI. Sometimes, I will see him entering the Judo room, ready for a training session with his seniors, together with Jia Kun. Though he denies the fact of loving someone of his same age group, we (me and me friends) all believe that he does indeed have someone in his red, pumping heart. "Ding dong!" The grandfather clock sounds at the arrival of 9 o'clock...

Jia Kun is one of the more happy-go-lucky boys within my consortium. His 'girly' tone has caused him to be called names... how unlucky. Overall, however, he is spirited and has a great sense of humour which has enabled him to succeed in his aims and goals. He is also a balanced boy, with one of the top-notch CCAs and with a top score in French, I really have to take my hat off to him(whoever wears a hat these days?). His cute, lit face always warms somebody's heart up, even if the receiver is depressed and down. Beware, he is subject to temperamental changes in his emotions at the spur of moments, and when that happens, haha! a long, dreary argument occurs(usually between him and Bing Heng). As people always say, empty vessels make the most noise, it really should not apply to this outspoken boy. "Ring!Ring!" My handphone rings to the tone of 'The Radetsky March"...

Bing Heng? A bit more towards the sports side, he has not been faring too well in the recent examinations, but I believe that he will be able to shoot through the clouds and ascend to a higher level! CCA? Canoeing, how interesting, was my second choice at first. Not long ago (actually today), I heard that Bing Heng has not been attending the lessons and sessions held during his CCA, hope that that is not the case. Bing Heng, in addition to Ning Yu, is not bespectacled and has a promising future in the arena of sports (or so I feel) due to his great interest for them. Met in NYPS, he has been Bi Quan's(another one of my friends) best friend and they two share a strong friendship bond. "幸福车站" plays in the background of my CPU as I look up to the ceiling, feeling a slight sense of tingling at the tips of my fingers.

This year, these four are all together in the strongest Sec 1 Mathematics Class, all in Mathematics Olympiad, how sad I'm not in... Boo Hoo! Anyway, their bonds have carried them this far and it probably will sustain there indefinitely... The purpose of this post is to highlight these four remarkable friends and their undying spirits. OK, that was probably exaggeration..... It doesn't matter, or does it?

Cloudless sky, the air is still, the Sun shows its orange face just above the apartment blocks .... Depressed & immersed in a chain of thoughts....

What is a sabbatical? How many days does it last for? Here's some explanation before I post this message in full, accounting for a different school day today and the rest of the week. Sabbaticals are courses that we, as Sec 1s, are allowed to choose. Some may require skills before signing up and some might require more money than others. Sabbatical week is a week in Term 2 and Term 3 in which Sec 1 & Sec 4s are allowed to have an entire week doing the course they prefer. Science, computer studies, even golf! Me, what did I choose? You'll find out later.

Thus I begin my post with a self-introduction of the course or sabbatical that I took up. The course is entitled "Power of Speech" and it teaches us (a group of 34) all about how to present ourselves during speeches and how to attract attention to the stage. Most of you at this point of time may wonder why I would take on such a boring topic instead of something that is more fun-filled, like Photonics. I, for one, feel that this course is not at all boring for it teaches the students how to be more gentlemenly and how to express our views correctly. I thus embarked on thou road for a period of 5 days. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday...

Today, introduction by teacher Mrs Laura Ng, whom is quite a nice English teacher whom previously came from NYGH and DHS. We were inspired by her teachings, too attractive, too right..... Anyway, we were all like too busy to think cause we were all copying her powerpoint slides.

As usual, we also have different lessons under this great topic of English. After her introductory lesson that outlined the course details and fundamental basics, we were left on our own for 1h and 10mins to have a long break, far too long, I personally got bored down to the last 10 mins so I played in the air-conditioned classroom with some of my friends.....

"Ring!" Miss Foo Yang Yann, a humourous teacher whom taught our class how to listen to the speaker and how to avoid dosing off. Apparently it did not catch on with me, evidence goes to show that in the next and last teacher's period. OK, so we listened to King's speech on black and white discrimination. I felt sad for the blacks, so ill-treated....

Another period of recess for 10 mins before we returned to class at about 12 noon. With a bottle full of water from the water cooler, I strolled into the classroom, half anticipating the teacher to come onto me like a tiger! Whoa, she was not there yet..... Learnt a lot on how to prepare speeches... she calls it rule of the thumb. Now, this is my Literature Teacher, and I was getting bored so i was generally dozing off until the technician came in and fixed the projector. Feeling energized, I jotted down more notes and finally school officially ended (for me at least) at 1300hours.

Concluding, after lunch, I pissed my friend Terence aka fatboytt off... regretful experience that will always linger in the deep corners of my soul..... how can I ever repent? Then, thinking of a solution, I returned home where I am now typing this out.....

Night covers the Earth as though a blanket would cover a sphere..... Yawns....

Seriously, I feel that I should comment on these two people for the simple fact that they are too outstanding. Who are they? Bo Yan and Ivan. Why are they outstanding? How do I just phrase the sentence. OK.... Here goes....

Bo Yan --- Cute boy in my opinion......
With short features, his physical height does not make him a slow runner within the 2.4 km run. In fact, he can probably run more than one track before you can. He is completely addicted to his iMac and he has a high-pitched voice, therefore he has the choir as his CCA. Sigh, due to his temperamental changes, NEVER PROVOKE HIM.
Reason for being outstanding -- Attracts to much attention especially when using words like 'gayhole' and 'fathead', rather amusing.....

Ivan ---- A bit of a sotong....
With a physical bodyframe of an average boy, Ivan has shown effort in improving his grades and scored a reasonably good mark in the PSLE. His blur appearance has caused him mockery and is usually bullied by Bo Yan. Pulls his pants way too high. Quite a loyal friend, also lives quite close to me, just one street away.....
Reason for being outstanding --- Loveable and a great 'Bob the Punchbag' in times of need. Is simple and pure

These two friends of mine (though they may not be friends of each other) are currently my class' best celebrities. Sad cases.....

You may wonder, do they have any nicknames. Yes! What the nicknames are! Ha! You will find that out in due time, Bo Yan's before Ivan's.

In short, both have proved reliable in the dark times of need and loneliness. Our roots extend back to NYPS, my primary school, where I met Ivan in P3 and Bo Yan in P4. In school, their results have a gap as wide as the Nile, yet that does not stop Ivan from improving. Recently, Ivan won Bo Yan in the Mathematics Term Test! From failure to winning.... Not bad!

Overall, I end my post with a word for the both of them, probably 'unique'....

Hot, sunny weather. Sweaty and thirsty.....

Yesterday was an annual combined sports meet for both HCI and NYGH. The result? A complete disaster. Litter strewn everywhere, students under the shade of a sheet held by metal bars being caught by rays of the sun coming in from the far side, probably the only good thing was that there were councillors selling Pokka Green Teas... Anyway, besides that, everything else was a complete disaster. The thought of meeting up with some old classmates from NYGH was prospectful yet under the stupid notion of BGRs, most of the boys and the girls kept a distance from each other after Benjamin was forced to express his hate for Elizabeth under our influence. The sports results were not too bad, HCI (High School Section) showed team spirit and even teachers like Geog Miss Foo joined in the race to the finish. The sports meet probably only allowed us to argue with the girls, far too insensible. Dunno what we were thinking. By the way, it was lucky I escaped from the seat given to my class, so hot......

Have finally finished my blog to an extent in which I am able to post with the mindframe of a satisfied person. The blog is now only still 1/4 finished, yet I feel that I should start my blog with a first entry entititled "Sports Meet 2005", an event that happened just yesterday. My plans for this blog has not been completed. I have yet to add a tagboard yet I am sure that I will add it sooner or later. Flash, javascript and otheres may come in later. As for the storage space,I have signed up for Angelfire which offers a storage space of up to 20MB, allowing me to place pictures and other stuff on it. Meanwhile, I shall blog and modify my blog. This construction period will be a long term one, so I myself don't know when this blog will be 100% done. Over the week, I will probably invite members (friends) to my blog to initiate a member system allowing only members to post. Will post my first personal entry regarding the title mentioned above in a matter of time.

Accomplished Today:

Getting rid of the original template.
Adding a single javascript
Adding thousand n 1 linx.
Enlisted help from fatboy.
Changed html coding for a lot of stuff.
And last but not least,
changed the look of this blog entirely.

Links to various subjects including friend's blogs, big organization webpages all done! Currently, I am working on the border and finding a suitable location to host my stuff. Wonder how.

With a certain fatboytt's help, have successfully finished part of me blog which includes the transparency of stuff and the change of posting colours, allowing my webpage to appear more vibrant in the spectrum of colors. Blog is now only a fraction of my unrealised dream which includes member-owner system, borders, tagboards, sidebars, flash, javascript, and many others which will most likely take at least a month to appear. Not considering those stuff into the agenda, I will most probably finish my blog during the next week or so. Included stuff will include downloads for some of my school work, support for all other browsers (I hope), more buttons to various places such as Google, Yahoo!,Hotmail, Apple... and definitely some more wacky sidebars!

Estimated completion date : 15/5/2005 (hopefully)

Blogging shall start soon after completion.

Date of completion will be announced.
