Dear Blog,
The past week has been a week of stress, the first of many if I could predict the future. On Monday, I was packed with Maths Quiz Training after school and then I had to rush for French. Well, that's quite common. And I did finish my Maths homework.
Tuesday, I stayed back in school to finish my never-ending pile of homework and that day was probably the best of all cause my Chinese tuition was cancelled. (Not by ME, by my teacher)
Wednesday was another day of third language and we prepared, during History lesson, for Friday's mini court trial between the prosecutors (Triple Entente) and Germany (headed by me and my friend, Kenii, Chancellor Theobald!).
Bah. This is getting a little too boring so Thursday spiced things up. I stayed back with about 6 other friends to do Chinese New year Decorations for our classroom. That was probably the best team spirit put forward by my classmates ever (could it be due to the CNY decoration competition?). I kept on delaying my Physics tuition that was postponed from 2.15 til 2.45. o.0 Can you believe it? I had two tuitions on that day. CONSECUTIVE! (Maths was the second one, at 4.15, when Physics ended.)
Friday arrived, the trial carried on, with most emphasis placed on the Schliffen Plan (which I think was sort of... ridiculous but that's cause I wasn't in Germany then! Hee hee.), Russia's mobilisation (which my side pushed on, using yi2 gong1 wei2 fan3 to defend ourselves, "Thou art not guilty!) and lastly the Serbian's government turning of a blind eye to its terrorists group assasination of Archduke Frank Ferdinard in Bosnia. After school, I attended "Launch of IvP @ NTU LT3" in which a video on deep dive made me sleepy but it indeed was an eye opener - the projects, the innovations and my old school classmates/friends!
As Friday night approached, I attended a dance performance at NYGH with Thomas, with two of our old school friends in the performing troupe. Though the storyline was hard to understand, the dance was near perfect and the AV crew had perfect coordination!
Saturday, I went back to school with Bo Yan and Yu Fan to decorate the classroom! It looks beautiful now, apart from more deco that havent gone up yet. (Like some lanterns and some hong baos.)
Guess that's all I gotta say!
Author's backnote : Dun have much time... (Next tech review up soon!)
Author's forenote: Sorry, I have been a little busy but I finally completed the first ever technology review on my blog - Enjoy!Summary:
Ad-Aware is a programme that enables the user to rid his computer of adware and spyware. Adware and spyware include tracking cookies and Trojans. These are probably cousins of the viruses that we usually see around these days. Just like how companies like Symantec tackle viruses with Anti-Virus software, Lavasoft takes care of these adware and spyware with the featured programme - Ad-Aware.
At a glance, Ad-Aware comes in 4 different editions - Ad-Aware Enterprise, Ad-Aware Plus, Ad-Aware Professional and the Ad-Aware for everyday home use. Each of these editions cater to a certain group of people and today we are focussing on the edition for home-use.
Reflections:
Personally, the most common and turbulent troubles that plague us today are spyware and adwares. For example, data miners and keyloggers are most common amongst the list of most unwanted adwares and spywares on Windows' users' lists. After having used it for at least a year, it had proven its due and is both user-friendly and technologically updated. Never do I have trouble whenever I would like to use it. So, I reckon you (the reader) should use it too!
